Silent Letters
Since English
is not a phonetic language, there are many letters which are not pronounced.
These words came from many sources. Just remember that with the exception
of the letter b, these letters do not come at the ends of words.
Pronounce the endings! If there is a letter repeated in the word, the
silent one is underlined.
