Silent Letters

Since English is not a phonetic language, there are many letters which are not pronounced. These words came from many sources. Just remember that with the exception of the letter b, these letters do not come at the ends of words. Pronounce the endings! If there is a letter repeated in the word, the silent one is underlined.
